Recap: Capital vs. St. Michael's
It's about time: St. Michael's finally caught a break after 3 consecutive losses. Everything went their way against Capital on Friday as the squad secured a 42-6 win. That result was just more of the same for St. Michael's, who also won the last time these teams played.
St. Michael's got off to a slow start in their previous match, but they had no such trouble against Capital and cruised to a 21-point first half. Meanwhile, Capital couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. The St. Michael's defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the contest. The victory bumped their record up to 1-3. The defeat dropped Capital's record to 1-2-1.
St. Michael's will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Santa Fe in two weeks at 7:00 PM. As for Capital, they will face off against Moriarty.
