Basketball Recap: Twin Rivers Starts Season with Win at Home

Twin Rivers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They took down the Meadow Heights Panthers 70-53.

Meadow Heights dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twin Rivers will host Malden at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th. As for Meadow Heights, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marquand-Zion at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th.
