Baseball Recap: Linden Comes Up Short

Linden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Union Farmers, falling 19-4. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Farmers from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Linden saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Obed Rosario, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Rosario's first of the season.

Linden's record now sits at 1-11. As for Union, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Linden will take on Hillside at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Union, they will challenge Columbia at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
