Volleyball Recap: Crestline Comes Up Short

Crestline lost against Bucyrus back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Redmen, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-12.

Kori Nechovski paced Crestline's offense, picking up three kills. Nechovski got some help from Nevaeh Hill and her five assists. Nechovski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Crestline now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bucyrus, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Crestline and Bucyrus will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will face off against rival Central Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bucyrus is set to square off against their familiar foe Upper Sandusky at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
