Volleyball Recap: Kayleigh Gordon and Hayleigh Chocholka Secure Win for Hickman County

Hickman County won the last time they faced Hampshire and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hickman County was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-12.

Hickman County was led to victory by Hayleigh Chocholka and Kayleigh Gordon. Chocholka had ten digs, while Gordon had 16 digs and six aces. Gordon is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good server: Hickman County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Hickman County's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Hampshire, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coming up, Hickman County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Hickman County at 6:00 p.m. As for Hampshire, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
