Softball Recap: Glencoe Comes Up Short

Glencoe and Weaver squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Glencoe had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 4-3. The Yellowjackets' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 9-23. As for Weaver, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season.

Glencoe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-7 loss against Locust Fork on the 5th. As for Weaver, they have also already played their next game, a 12-5 defeat against Collinsville on the 5th.
