Soccer Recap: Duluth Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Duluth after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Parkview Panthers by a score of 2-1. That makes it the first time this season the Wildcats have let down their home crowd.

Duluth is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4. As for Parkview, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Duluth will venture away from home to square off against North Gwinnett at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Gwinnett is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.7 goals per game this season. As for Parkview, they will be playing at home against Meadowcreek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
