Cobden came out on top against Dongola on Wednesday thanks in part to Abby Pitts's efforts. Pitts was dynamite, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
