Softball Recap: KIPP NYC College Prep Comes Up Short

KIPP NYC College Prep entered their matchup against Manhattan Center for Science & Math on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for KIPP NYC College Prep and nudges their season record down to 10-2. As for Manhattan Center for Science & Math, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

KIPP NYC College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-3 victory against Mott Haven on the 8th. Manhattan Center for Science & Math has also already played their next game (against Randolph Campus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
