Brea Olinda had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Sunny Hills Lancers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in March.

Dominic Gomez looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Brea Olinda saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Perez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hudson Sims also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Brea Olinda pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Sunny Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Brea Olinda will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
