Volleyball Game Preview: Carver Tigers vs. Columbus Blue Devils

Carver hasn't had much luck against Columbus recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will face off against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Carver came up short against Jordan and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Columbus had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Columbus was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9.

Carver better keep an eye on Jaslyn Watts. She was instrumental in Columbus' win, getting seven digs and five aces. That's the most aces Watts has posted over her last 18 matches.

Columbus' win bumped their record up to 26-18. As for Carver, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Carver came up short against Columbus when the teams last played back in September, falling 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
