After a string of six wins, Bracken County's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 58-45 to the Bishop Brossart Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 57-29 defeat back in February.

Bracken County's defeat dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Bishop Brossart, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-7.

Bracken County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Brossart, they and George Rogers Clark will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. George Rogers Clark knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Bishop Brossart likes a good challenge.
