Silas has been on the road for six straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lincoln Abes at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Silas' favor is that they have posted big run totals in their last three contests.
On Monday, Silas needed a bit of extra time to put away Spanaway Lake. They had just enough and edged the Sentinels out 13-12.
The team relied heavily on Kaydence Griffith, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-6. The team also got some help courtesy of Desi Bass, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 17-3 walloping at the hands of Lakes.
Silas' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
