Basketball Game Preview: El Capitan Eagles vs. St. Michael Cardinals

El Capitan hasn't had much luck against St. Michael recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The El Capitan Eagles just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the St. Michael Cardinals at 9:00 a.m. St. Michael took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on El Capitan, who comes in off a win.

El Capitan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Rough Rock to the tune of 59-18 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 17-point performance the game before.

Meanwhile, St. Michael was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-36 heartbreaker at the hands of Dishchii'bikoh.

St. Michael's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for El Capitan, they moved to 6-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
