Volleyball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Has No Trouble Against Manual

On Tuesday, the Thomas Jefferson Spartans made easy work of the Manual Thunderbolts and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Manual still got an impressive performance from Danny Flores, who had 23 digs. Flores is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season.

Thomas Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Thomas Jefferson will head out to square off against Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Legacy will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Thomas Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Manual, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Denver Waldorf on the 19th.
