Basketball Recap: Ocean County Christian Academy's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Ocean County Christian Academy won the last time they faced Bethel Baptist Academy and things went their way on Monday too. Ocean County Christian Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 win over the Bethel Baptist Academy Miners. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ocean County Christian Academy.

Several Miners players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathan Stahl, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance also gave Stahl a new career-high in blocks (four). Nick Rizzon was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Ocean County Christian Academy's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1. As for Bethel Baptist Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Ocean County Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Solid Rock Christian School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bethel Baptist Academy will take on Harbor in a tournament on Thursday.
