Football Game Preview: Victoria West Warriors vs. Harlandale Indians

Victoria West is headed into Friday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They fell 24-14 to Boerne on Friday. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Nolan Boyce and Grant Sweeney. Sweeney had a great game and threw for 274 yards and one touchdown. Meanwhile, Boyce was balling out in the loss, rushing for 22 yards and six scores, while also throwing for 179 yards on 14 of 28 attempts.

Meanwhile, Harlandale played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-14 loss at the hands of Boerne. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Harlandale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Victoria West, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
