Western won the last time they faced Columbia Central and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Golden Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Western's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Columbia Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western will face off against East Lansing at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Central, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Manchester at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
