Football Recap: West Columbus Falls to Whiteville in First Game of Season

West Columbus unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Whiteville Wolfpack 48-8 on Friday. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Columbus will face off against South Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whiteville, they will venture away from home to face off against West Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
