Central barely beat Penns Valley Area the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Rams on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won six in a row.

Coltin Harbaugh tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Central got a big performance out of Troy McNichol, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs McNichol has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Robison, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

The victory got Central back to even at 1-1. As for Penns Valley Area, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-3 win against Bellefonte on the 27th. As for Penns Valley Area, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against Huntingdon on the 25th.
