Volleyball Game Preview: Wiregrass Kings vs. Marianna Bulldogs

The Wiregrass Kings will face off against the Marianna Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Marianna took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Wiregrass, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Wiregrass got the win against Southern Christian by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kings.

Wiregrass walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Marianna didn't have quite enough to beat Port St. Joe on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marianna was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Port St. Joe work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-16, 22-25, 27-25, 15-11.

Wiregrass now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Marianna, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
