Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Nevada Union's Winning Streak

If Nevada Union was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Davis Sr. on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Nevada Union fell 2-0 to the Monterey Trail Mustangs on Saturday. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Rhyder Eelkema paced Nevada Union's offense, picking up four kills. Eelkema got some help from AJ Jennings and his six assists.
