Volleyball Recap: Dysart Takes a Loss

Dysart lost against Greenway back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Dysart came up short against Greenway, falling 3-0. Dysart has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dysart was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Greenway work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-11, 25-20.

Ryan Shetterly paced Dysart's offense, picking up eight kills. Shetterly got some help from Jorge Serna and his 15 assists. Shetterly also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Kyle Giacolletti-Moody, racking up two apiece.

Dysart now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Greenway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Dysart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Browne on the 17th. As for Greenway, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Moon Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th. Greenway is facing Moon Valley at the right time seeing as Moon Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
