Basketball Recap: Fox Tech Comes Up Short

Fox Tech lost against Brackenridge back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fox Tech Buffaloes were beaten by the Brackenridge Eagles 75-25. The Buffaloes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Ashlynn Cortinas continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Brackenridge, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Cortinas a new career-high in assists (eight). Another player making a difference was Sarah Arriaga, who almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals.

Fox Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Brackenridge, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Fox Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-19 defeat against Sam Houston on the 3rd. As for Brackenridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-25 victory against Lanier on the 3rd.
