Baseball Recap: Argyle Takes a Loss

Argyle lost to Southwestern back in May of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Orioles came up short against the Wildcats, falling 18-8.

Jackson Berget was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Cole Dunlavey, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Argyle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southwestern, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Argyle will take on Albany at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwestern, they will face off against Darlington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
