The Foothill Falcons didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Mojave Rattlers on Friday, but they still walked away with a 34-28 victory.

A big part of Foothill's win came down to the chemistry between Ryder Dobbs and his top target Braxton Bonnett. Dobbs threw for 161 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes while Bonnett picked up 182 receiving yards and a pair of scores. That's the most receiving yards Bonnett has posted since back in September of 2024. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Bryce Rodriguez, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Mojave lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Francisco Reinares, who rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown.

The victory got Foothill back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Foothill will take on Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mojave, they will square off against Queen Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
