Soccer Game Preview: Flintridge Prep vs. EF Academy

The Flintridge Prep Wolves will head out to challenge the EF Academy Hawks at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Flintridge Prep's offense. They fell just short of Polytechnic by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Flintridge Prep have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, EF Academy also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Polytechnic on Thursday, falling 5-0. The loss continues a trend for EF Academy in their meetings with Polytechnic: they've now lost four in a row.

Flintridge Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for EF Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8-2.

Flintridge Prep got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in January against EF Academy by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
