Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

After losing to Master's Hand Christian the last time they met, Cornerstone Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cornerstone Christian Eagles came out on top against the Master's Hand Christian Warriors by a score of 49-42 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Despite the loss, Master's Hand Christian still got an impressive performance from Branson Solomon, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. Solomon continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Braedon Canuteson was another key player, putting up six points along with 11 boards and three blocks.

Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game.
