Willard had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Bellevue Redmen 7-1. For Willard, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 defeat Bellevue walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Isaac Robinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Ethan Rodriguez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-3. Anthony Potts was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Willard back to even at 1-1.
