After a string of three wins, Sergeant Bluff-Luton's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 77-63 bruising from the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Vikings are ranked 13th).

Sergeant Bluff-Luton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, their record is now 11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sergeant Bluff-Luton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Le Mars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
