Basketball Recap: Southwest Florida Christian Takes a Loss

Southwest Florida Christian played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the South Fort Myers Wolfpack, falling 56-34. The King's haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

South Fort Myers' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mariah Thorne, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ja'Meria Church, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Southwest Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for South Fort Myers, their record now sits at 4-2.

Southwest Florida Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-16 defeat against Babcock on the 10th. As for South Fort Myers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 36-34 victory against LaBelle on the 10th.
