Basketball Recap: Sam Rayburn Texans vs. Liberty Panthers
Sam Rayburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 54-18 loss at the hands of the Liberty Panthers.
Jaclyn Haley went supernova for Liberty, earning 13 points plus seven steals and six assists. Another player making a difference was Loren Nesbitt, who had ten points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.
Sam Rayburn's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Liberty, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
