Softball Recap: Seneca East Wins Going Away Against Plymouth

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mohawk, Seneca East was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Plymouth Big Red get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The contest marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Madi Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Seneca East's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Plymouth, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seneca East will venture away from home to take on Mohawk at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Plymouth, they will head out to challenge Western Reserve at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
