Highland Tech is a perfect 10-0 against Cherryville since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cherryville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to East Gaston. That's two games in a row now that Cherryville have lost by exactly nine goals.

Highland Tech's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-4. As for Cherryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Highland Tech took their win against Cherryville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0. Will Highland Tech repeat their success, or does Cherryville has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
