Softball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Comes Up Short

Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Byron Tigers.

Ashton-Franklin Center saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalee Vanatta, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Vanatta is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Ashton-Franklin Center's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Byron, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
