Soccer Recap: Petal Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest Rankin, Petal was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 3-2 victory from a begrudging Petal squad.

Emerson White and Cailyn Duckworth scored all three of Petal's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Petal's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for West Harrison, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

When Petal and West Harrison next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Petal will try to stop West Jones' three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Meanwhile, West Harrison will face off against Long Beach and their seven-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
