Volleyball Recap: Delta Charter Comes Up Short

Delta Charter was the 3-1 winner over Vanguard College Prep when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons lost 3-0 to the Lions on Tuesday.

Delta Charter took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Maihlene Santiago, who had six aces.

Delta Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Delta Charter is set to take on their familiar foe Stockton Christian at 5:00 p.m. on September 4. Meanwhile, Vanguard College Prep will challenge rival Lodi Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
