Soccer Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

If Glenn was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Lehman last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glenn Grizzlies lost 4-0 to the Liberty Hill Panthers on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Panthers are ranked 42nd).

Glenn has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11-3 record this season. Liberty Hill has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.

Glenn wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hays on the 4th. As for Liberty Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Lehman on the 4th.
