Midland came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bridge City Cardinals.

Bridge City's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Presley Ducote, who had ten assists and two aces.

Midland's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Bridge City, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.

Midland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Round Top-Carmine on the 30th. As for Bridge City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Schulenburg on the 30th.
