Soccer Recap: Argenta-Oreana Comes Up Short

Argenta-Oreana managed to keep up with Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bombers lost 4-0 to the Knights. Argenta-Oreana were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Argenta-Oreana and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Argenta-Oreana will challenge Meridian/Sangamon Valley/Central A&M at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
