It was a good run, but Morrow unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to the Sandy Creek Patriots.

Sandy Creek was led to victory by Madison Reckley and Morghan Reckley. Madison went 8 for 18 en route to 22 points, while Morghan almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The contest was Morghan's 18th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyva Holloway, who posted two points along with seven boards and four steals.

Morrow's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Sandy Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Morrow has already played their next matchup, a 55-44 victory against Newnan on the 25th. As for Sandy Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 77-7 win against Whitewater on the 25th.
