Softball Recap: Nashua South Has No Trouble Against Nashua North

Nashua South never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Nashua North Titans. The Purple Panthers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Cate Marvin, who gave up just four hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep Nashua North off the board. Those 15 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Marvin.

On the hitting side, Brooke Berger was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three doubles, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Charlotte Primeau was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Nashua South was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Nashua South's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Nashua North, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Nashua South will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair will be back at it again later today.
