Recap: Seymour Indians vs. Genoa-Kingston Cogs
After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Seymour brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Genoa-Kingston Cogs an 11-0 shutout on Saturday. The win was just what Seymour needed coming off of an 8-2 loss in their prior matchup.
The team relied heavily on Blake Schwartz, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Connor Howell was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
