Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for Stanton

Stanton won the last time they faced Boone Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Stanton got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-22.

Stanton can attribute much of their success to Rylan Hansen, who had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Hansen has posted since back in October of 2024.

Stanton's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Boone Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Stanton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Norfolk Catholic on the 18th. As for Boone Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Central City on the 20th.
