Volleyball Recap: Medina Battling Bees vs. St. Ignatius Wildcats
After flying high against Cleveland Heights on Monday, Medina came back down to earth. The Battling Bees lost 3-0 to the St. Ignatius Wildcats on Wednesday. The Battling Bees haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
While Medina was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into St. Ignatius' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-12, 25-15.
St. Ignatius' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Brobbey, who had 19 assists and two aces. Brobbey is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 19 or more in each of the last 28 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Brandon Walrod, who had 12 assists and three aces.

As for St. Ignatius, they will challenge Strongsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
