Volleyball Recap: Central Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Park Hill South, the Indians were happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Central Blue Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Hayden Root was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had eight aces and five assists. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Amiya Williams-McKinley also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: the Indians was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The Indians' win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for the Blue Eagles, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

The Indians wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against the Bobcats on the 27th. As for the Blue Eagles, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against the Bears on the 27th.
