Basketball Game Preview: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. North Forsyth Vikings

The Walkertown Wolfpack will challenge the North Forsyth Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Walkertown is looking for their season's first win.

Walkertown managed to keep up with Reidsville until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Walkertown was beaten by Reidsville 58-25. The Wolfpack were down 44-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, North Forsyth unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by T.W. Andrews and fell 55-15. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 103rd).

North Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Walkertown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Walkertown was dealt a bruising 63-8 loss at the hands of North Forsyth in their previous matchup on January 8th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of North Forsyth's Jylyia Mizell, who posted 32 points along with six boards and five steals.
