Baseball Recap: Mammoth Comes Up Short

Mammoth lost to Rosamond back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Huskies came up short against the Roadrunners, falling 19-5. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DJ Gray was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Mammoth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Rosamond, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-5.

Looking ahead, Mammoth will face off against Lone Pine at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rosamond, they will square off against California City at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Roadrunners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ravens have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season.
