Recap: Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes vs. Tri-Valley Bulldogs
The Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes lost to the Tri-Valley Bulldogs back in December of 2023, but the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes didn't allow the Tri-Valley Bulldogs the same satisfaction on Friday. Schuylkill Haven snuck past Tri-Valley with a 48-42 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Schuylkill Haven.
Tri-Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Layne Yoder, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Luke Wehry was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals and two blocks.
Schuylkill Haven's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schuylkill Haven will take on Nativity BVM at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Williams Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
