Football Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Marshall and Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Marshall had to settle for second. They fell 27-14 to the Knights.

Despite the loss, Marshall still got an impressive performance from Lucca Giannavola, who rushed for 142 yards and two scores.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Trey Strode and Easton Frederick. Strode rushed for 80 yards and one TD on only six carries while Frederick rushed for 72 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

As of now, neither Marshall nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
